LIVING WATERS

DISCIPLESHIP COURSES

LIVING WATERS is based on the biblical truth that men and women are made in the image of God, and that image is still at the core of our being. However, it has been overlaid with the sinful effects of the fall, deficiencies in the ways we have been nurtured, other wounding to our lives and reactive decisions we have made. These have messed up our ability to relate to others maturely, and to have a wholesome, Godly sexuality.

The aim of Living Waters is to call forth the true masculine or feminine, the true image of God in each one of us. This in turn, enables us to put off the false ways we have learned to relate to others and to find God's clarity in our confusing and sinful sexuality and patterns of relating to others.

Stanley St, Sydney CBD

St Paul's provides a cafe for the Sydney community in order to build connections within a lively, friendly community, with humour, humility and down to earthiness. We believe that God's love is for all, that all people need dignity and respect, that God called us to this work and that He can be trusted to make all things possible. Through this, connections will happen, trust will be established and the glory will be to God.

Visitors say they like the easy atmosphere of the Cafe. They can sit on their own, mingle or talk to the volunteers. Light snacks and drinks are provided.

Welcome to Breakthrough Celebrate Recovery

Friday nights 7:00 to 9:00pm

Celebrate Recovery is an interdenominational recovery program held at Peninsula Vineyard Community Church, Dee Why.

Why should I attend?
This Christ centered ministry provides a road to freedom from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviours. It is the freedom our hearts long for - allowing  us to find true peace, joy, and most importantly, a stronger relationship with God…and others.
Based on eight principles taken from the beatitudes, this program enhances a traditional 12-step approach with sound Biblical principles providing strong spiritual growth.
Anyone is welcome to come and join us on this amazing spiritual adventure.

About Us
Breakthrough - Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step recovery program based on biblical principals. It helps us to find freedom from the things that hinder us being the people God made us to be - these include addictions, grief, anger, depression, eating disorders, abuse etc.

What to expect?
We start each week with a time of Worship, followed by some teaching or testimonies related to the Step / Principle we are looking at. We also have a time where we celebrate the breakthroughs people have made in their lives – it is really encouraging to be a part of seeing someone’s life transformed, and being reminded that it is possible for God to do the same in our life.
We then break for coffee which is a great time to get to know people in an informal setting.

After the coffee break we divide into our small groups (men & women) for a discussion time.

Everyone is  free to participate as much or as little as they like.
