"To provide a safe haven for women in need enabling them to reach their full potential and true destiny". Set in the peaceful rolling hills of the Hunter Valley, NSW, Destiny Grove is a 20 bed facility offering a residential life-developing training programme for women in need. It is a place of safety, healing and restoration. Caring, experienced staff and counselors will assist you in achieving your true destiny and potential and set you on a journey towards freedom and renewal. Destiny Grove is a live-in residential program for women with life controlling issues - where emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and practical needs are dealt with - enabling them to establish and full their own unique destiny. DESTINY GROVE exists to see women restored into wholeness; to break the old cycles of their lives; to heal the brokenhearted and teach them to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ; TO provide a home - a "safe place", where, through unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness - their lives will be transformed. Our recovery programs are run in an encouraging and supportive environment aimed at helping women to overcome the legacy of their past - broken relationships, destructive emotions and behaviours, such as addictions, low self esteem, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal tendencies, depression and anxiety, panic attacks and the effects of abuse. Once accepted into the program at Destiny Grove, participants must be prepared to participate in all aspects of the program. The program is designed to empower women who sincerely desire to change their lives. We provide practical information and support to women in a safe, family orientated residential environment to help them to achieve that change. The minimum age of potential residents is 16 years. The program involves a staged recovery process, and length of stay will vary according to the needs of each women. Average stay would probably be between six and twelve months. We require a commitment on their part to stay a minimum of three months. Pregnant women are not precluded. However, we do not have facilities or staff to cater for babies and children.
