Two weekends 5th & 6th September & 19th & 20th September. Friday sessions 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Saturday sessions 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. "A gentle, safe, Bible-based ministry using the spiritual gifts of sight, discernment, intercession and healing bringing about physical, emotional and spiritual release." 'Insight 08'- Bring Your Community into Focus - 1-3 October 2008 Lighthouse Church, Wollongong, is hosting a further 'Insight' Conference this year. It will be 3 conferences in one:
* 'Bringing Your Community into Focus' - at the Lighthouse Church, Wollongong - with special guests: Tommy Barnett, Danny Guglielmucci and Steve Penny. Tommy Barnett is from Phoenix, USA. He leads a ministry which runs over 200 different community programs and reaches more than 25,000 people each week. Danny Guglielmucci, from Adelaide, where he leads Edge International Church. Steve Penny is from Kings Christian Church, Sunshine Coast, Qld.
* 'Ignite 2008' - at the Illawarra Grammar School. Special Guests: Sam Evans (Planet Shakers Church, Melbourne), Kirk McAtear (Globe Church, Newcastle, and Ellie Cotter (Shirelive/Youth, Sutherland)

Careforce Courses
New Beginnings A Christian based ten week program produced by Careforce Ministry in Melbourne. The course aims to assist people to overcome their addictions. The program includes weekly sessions and group work to encourage people to talk about, reflect upon and address issues related to their addictions.
The Arena of Healing The Cycle of Addiction Family Systems Who am I? Communication Shame The Faces of Blame Forgiveness The stages of Change Moving On The evening starts with coffee, participants watch a DVD, share supper and then move into small groups to discuss the evening's focus area. Cost: $20.00 to cover tea, coffee and supper. The work book ($20) used by participants is provided free as it is sponsored by the Eurobodalla Council through a Healthy Community Grant. LIVING WATERS is based on the biblical truth that men and women are made in the image of God, and that image is still at the core of our being. However, it has been overlaid with the sinful effects of the fall, deficiencies in the ways we have been nurtured, other wounding to our lives and reactive decisions we have made. The United Church at 39 Bridge St, Coniston has made its church facility available for combined prayer (for an indefinite period). Jeff Stacey and Barbara Neary lead the "Illawarra "Prayer House" meetings for intercessors at Coniston United Church on Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon.
